Marcie's obituary
It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Marcie Wainner, a compassionate, caring, and warm-hearted woman, on November 5, 2025. Born on June 30, 1958, Marcie left a powerful legacy of love. She was a kind soul, always extending her care for others beyond boundaries.
Marcie was born in Denver Colorado to Norman and Betty Camron. Early on she developed a love for acting and singing. When she was in high school she was a true thespian and devoted her time to the stage. She had dreams of going to the University of Nevada- Las Vegas to study theater but stayed in Denver instead.
Marcie dedicated a significant part of her life supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association, a cause close to her heart. She started finding ways to volunteer when she was in middle school. In Denver she quickly became the person that put together fundraisers to help raise money to find a cure. She loved being there for the kids even if it meant losing them. Marcie believed that "no adult or child deserves to die from such diseases", a testament to her compassionate and caring nature.
Marcie had a profound love for her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she cherished. Christmas was her holiday. She started watching Christmas movies in July and would always say “it’s always Christmas time.” No matter how crazy that drove the rest of the family. She felt complete with her family next to her.
Among her greatest accomplishments, she was most proud of raising her two beautiful children, always ensuring she was there for them. She was proud of her family and all those that belonged by blood or friendship. Her wise counsel to all was to 'be there for one another', a lesson she keenly put into practice.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Wainner, her daughter Cassie McNeely, her son Adam McNeely, her sister Robin (Gary) Wilson, her brother Marc (Victoria) Camron, her grandson Ayden Cejka, and granddaughters Leilani and Briar-Rayne McNeely. Preceding her in passing were her parents, Norman Camron and Betty White, and her son Angel McNeely.
Marcie's memory will forever be cherished by all who loved her. Her life was a testament to selfless love and caring, leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her family and friends will profoundly miss her, but they take comfort in the knowledge that their love for her remains eternal.
