Background
Mother Earth Montessori (MEM) is a community-based organization founded in October 2017 to provide affordable quality Montessori education, nutrition, and vocational skills to the most disadvantaged children and their parents in Gulu City, Uganda. Called by the grace of God, Marcellina started MEM with a vision for grounding young children and their families with a good foundation for better future. MEM is a lifetime dream realized and a legacy that continues to shine the light of Mama Marcellina. Gifts to Mother Earth Montessori will be used for school fees and supplies, building out school infrastructure, developing vocational programming, and staff development.
