Lola's obituary
Lola Felder, of Birmingham Alabama, entered into God’s kingdom on August 4th 2023. She was born February 6th, 1963, to Flora'Jean and Charles B. Felder.
Lola, the most loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother is survived by her husband, John; sons, Jimmy and Amos; daughter, Anna'Lae; sister, Deidra; granddaughters Laura and Adrienne; and all of her plants that she loved so much!
Upon graduation from George W. Carver High School, Marceline joined the Army to serve her country, which took her out to San Diego. Upon leaving the military and a few years after university, Marceline met the love of her life, the man who would stand by her side through thick and thin, John.
Feeling obligated to raise their family back home they instantly realized with the state of crime it wouldn't be best, they loaded their family into a van and made the long and rigorous journey across the nation and found themselves in Kearney Nebraska. Once in Kearny, Lola tirelessly and faithfully supported her family and homeless veterans in her new community.
Lola had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation, and her laugh was infectious to everyone around her. She was a woman of many stories with many lessons we carry in our minds and hearts for years to come.
Marceline was a truly great woman whose impact will be forever felt by her family, who loves her dearly. She was a selfless woman whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of her loved ones. Her ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever ingrained in us.
A memorial service will take place at 11:30am. on the 12th of August at:
