Marc Johnson, 78, of Porterville, California, passed away on July 07, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Marc was born on January 31, 1944, to Kenneth and Annette Johnson in Berkeley, California. After graduating from Ukiah High School in 1961, Marc moved to Delano, where he worked as a service clerk at a local market. He soon returned to Ukiah where he began working at Mendocino State Hospital. In 1966 he met Cheryl, and they married on November 26 of that year, going on to have one Son, Jack Lee Johnson. In 1970 Marc and Cheryl moved to Porterville, CA, where he began a 42- year long career as a Nursing Coordinator, at Porterville Developmental Center. Throughout his lifetime in Porterville, Marc made many friends and enjoyed many hobbies and activities.  After retiring in 2002, Marc spent his time traveling with his wife Cheryl, playing golf, fly fishing, enjoying friends and family and spending many summers together in Thayne, Wyoming beneath the beautiful Teton mountain range.

Marc was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Annette Johnson, and sister Jeri Dalman. He is survived by his Wife Cheryl Kay Johnson, Son Jack Lee Johnson, Daughter in law Gana Marie Johnson, Grandson Jacob Duane Johnson and spouse Misty Marie Johnson, Grandson Jeremy Lee Johnson, and two beautiful Great Grandchildren, Brylee Kae Johnson and Waylon Anthony Johnson.  UFF DA!!
