Marc R. Janelle, 60, of Lawrence, MA died unexpectedly on February 26, 2021. His loss was unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Marc was born on August 27, 1960 to Theresa Janelle (Lizotte) and Robert Janelle in Biddeford, ME. When he was 3 years old his family relocated to Lawrence, Massachusetts, where he lived the rest of his days. Marc attended Lawrence High School and was passionate about football. After graduating high school in 1979, Marc continued to play multiple sports, winning many trophy's along the way.

He worked as a Machinist at Mercer Paper for many years and was a member of many city clubs and sports teams.

Marc also spent time helping people any chance he could within his community.

Anyone who knew Marc, knew that they were kind, loving, caring, awesome and wonderful. He had an immense passion for music and was always a source of positivity. Marc’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

Marc was a strong pillar to his large family. He is survived by his son Allen Janelle, his daughter Theresa Janelle-Heto and her two sons, Selorm and Senya Heto. They will miss their Pepere and his knock-knock jokes.

Marc's siblings, Constance and late husband Nick Bufagna. Carol and husband Roland Morrasse. Sandra Janelle. Ronnie and wife Marianne Janelle. Richard Janelle. Glenn and wife Lisa Janelle. Jaime and late wife Cindi Janelle. David Janelle. And his late brother Steven Janelle. Marc was Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A son, brother, friend and father, Marc was a jolly giant and gentle soul. His distant relatives all have fond memories of times with their nephew, cousin, and Godson. Anyone that knew Marc was lucky to be able to call him a friend. Anyone that knew him to be a close friend was able to experience his luck first hand.

Although him gone is sad for us, we are glad to know that his suffering has ended and we are able to reminisce on his love of life.

Contributions in memory of Marc can be made to CorUnum Meal Center of Lawrence, MA. There will be a funeral service held on August 27, 2021 at St Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford, ME.
