Background
At 58, Maqing's life was cut short by glioblastoma, the most aggressive and deadliest form of cancer. First diagnosed in 2019, she lived for almost 2 years before the tumour recurred this summer in 2021.
The memorial fund will be released as donations in Maqing's name to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, as we continue to search for ways to combat this awful disease. We hope to continue her legacy with the hope of finding a cure for future generations to come.
