Manuela (Monie) Buzak entered into rest on November 27th, 2023. Monie was born on February 16th, 1954, in Bremen Germany. Monie is the daughter of Johan and Isle Ramke.

Monie is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Edward William Buzak. She will be deeply missed by her children, Jason (Larissa) Buzak, and Brian (Ariel) Buzak, her Grandchildren Jason Jr., Grace and Emma Buzak, her brother in laws; Thomas (Mary) Buzak, David Buzak, Todd Oldenburg and several nieces and nephews. Monie is predeceased by her sister Gabriele Oldenburg.

Monie attended Tonawanda High School, where she met the love of her life and husband Edward. They moved to Lockport and built a beautiful family together. Monie worked as a bookkeeper for over 40 years. She enjoyed working with her son, Jason, for the last 10 years at Buzak Holdings Inc. in Lockport NY.

Monie was a very proud mother and grandmother. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports and was always heard shouting for them on the sidelines. She loved her two sons more than words can describe and was happiest when she was with them. She was terrible at playing cards, but successful at pressing her luck at the Casino. She was always passionately cheering on her favorite sports team the Buffalo Bills. She also enjoyed playing darts and bowling with her beloved husband. She was a true competitor and never gave up.

Monie was small in stature, but tough as they come. She will be remembered for her quick wit, grit, and fierce tenacity. The love she has for her family is limitless.

There will be a private celebration of life held by her immediate family in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project and St Jude Children’s Hospital.
