Manny's obituary

Manuel Humberto Sierra Morgado of Clermont, Florida was called into the House of the Lord on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 after his short but hard-fought battle with cancer. He had a long and wonderful life but was taken too soon from us. We know that his assignment from God on this earth was over and his new mission next to the Lord had just begun.

Manuel or Manny as most knew him,  was born on December 6th, 1953.  He was a loving and righteous man born in the city of Ciego de Avila, Cuba. He was born to parents Manuel Alberto Sierra and Justa Pastora Morgado. He was also the oldest and only brother of two younger sisters, Miriam and Carey. He came to the United States in 1965 to embark on his journey for a new and better life.

After he graduated high school, he married and had two of his children, Manny Jr. and Rachel. After, Manny dedicated 4 years in the Air Force, stationed in NORAD. He achieved the Rank of Sgt and utilized the skills and knowledge at the Air Force Academy to develop his professional work as an engineer. Later, he was able to obtain his engineering degree at Colorado Technical College. He then welcomed his third child, Stefan.

In 2007, Manny married his life partner, Edith, and helped raise her daughter and fourth child, Ivanna while continuing his work in engineering and telecommunications.

Manny was a deeply loved man who enjoyed cooking for family and friends, bike riding, gardening, and traveling. A true family man, who was sincere in his job and who loved spending time with his wife, kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Manny found God at a young age through the Catholic Church, but later found Jesus Christ as his one and only Lord and Savior and through him was he able to live the wonderful life serving the Lord and those in his community.

An Honorable Husband.

A loving Father.

A true faithful follower of Jesus Christ.
