Manuel Parra Jr., 72, of Delhi, CA., passed away at home on 2 May 2020 as a result of complications from Alzheimer's. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by his son (Philip Parra) his daughters (Yolanda Parra) (Marisela Tumbarello) his daughter-in-law (Monique Parra) his son-n-law (Juan Valenzuela) his grandson (Tony Deltoro) and Karina Mercado.

Manuel was predeceased by his wife Mary Lou Parra, his father Manuel Parra Sr. and his mother Adela Parra. He is survived by his children Manuel Parra III, Yolanda Valenzuela, Richard Parra, Marisela Tumbarello and Philip Parra. He has 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Manuel was born on April 4, 1948 in Monterey, Mexico. He came to the United States when he was 5 and later obtained his U.S. Citizenship. He married Mary Lou Rios on Dec 3, 1967. They were married for 52 years. After moving to Delhi, Manuel began working for Countz Counter tops for 30 years. He later worked for Aspiranet. He retired after 15 years there.

Manuel’s passion was Golf. He played every chance he got. He loved eating at his favorite restaurant, La Morenita, with his family. He was a hard worker and loving husband and father. He was devoted to his family and his church. They attended Denair Pentecostal Church for twenty plus years.

The family will hold a private funeral ceremony at the Parra residence on Saturday, 9 May 2020. Flowers and condolences can be sent to 16378 August Ave., Delhi, CA. 95315.
