I married Jesse's daughter, Cristina in 2021.  I had the privilege  of meeting Jesse and Fern 2022.  Cristina shared many fond memories and fun stories about her childhood with me over the years.  It was an honor to meet him and has been the greatest joy of my life to be married to the wonderful woman he helped raise.

Dear Pena family, I wish we could attend Jesse’s memorial. We will be on a flight home that day. We are thankful that Jesse’s most important friend, Jehovah, will keep him safe in his memory until it is time to reunite him with you. We send our love and deep sympathy. ❤️

So sorry to hear about Jesse’s passing.He was so kind when I visited & met you guys in Denver.I remember he gave me a ride to & from the meeting.

Someone once said that grieve is the price we pay for love…
