She had a wonderful personality. She reminded us of Mom Clara Kemp. They would have us cracking up when we were with them. Mom Clara would say "Whaaaaaaaaaat!" We love your family so much. Today's memorial for Mamie made us want the new system even more. Love, Henry & Gwen Kemp & Easter Manor.
Dear friends, what a beautiful celebration of Mamies life. We are so happy we got to share so much with her in Owenton!! How we look forward to sharing so much more! With our love, Rick and Debbie Wilson
We are so sorry for the loss of our dear Sister Mamie. May Jehovah give you the comfort you need right now and into Paradise where we will meet her again, young and healthy, the way Jehovah intended.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, and it was wonderful to share a wonderful trip down memory lane about your mum. She was a wonderful lady and a true and faithful servant of Jehovah. Warm Christian Love Rob and Carlita Birkett Your Extended Family Down Under
Please know that your mom had a very special place in my heart. When our family moved to Owenton, she was the first to have us over for hospitality. She of course made us her famous gumbo with egg. She was always so kind and sweet to us. I loved her style and her accent.
I especially loved how much she loved talking about Jehovah, and how deep in her heart her love for Him was.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I will be praying that Jehovah continues to provide peace and comfort to you all during this time. Phil 4:7
My favorite time was at the Baynum's house and Mamie, of course, made her gumbo. Loved it so much that Cathy shared the recipe with me. I've never had the chance to try it out (shame on me) and I've since lost it. She was a sly funny genuine Cajun Lady. I look forward to getting to know her even better in the new system. I hope she remembers me.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We can't wait wait to see Mamie again, see her smile, hear her sweet voice, and have some more gumbo with her!
