Mamie Craven Seals, 78, of Gloster, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, surrounded by family.

Mamie was born on November 22, 1946, in Laurel, Mississippi to her parents, Arthur Craven and Laura Lopper Craven. She was a devoted wife and mother that was the heart and soul of her family, offering boundless love, support, and nurturing care to her children and husband. Her nurturing spirit and warm presence were felt by all who entered her home.

Mamie was a faithful member of Spirit Life Church, where she found great joy in singing and attending services, sharing her love for music and faith with others. Her unwavering faith was a guiding light in her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Lavelle Seals; her parents, Arthur and Laura Craven; her son, Roger Lavelle Seals, Sr.; grandson, Naymond Purdion, Jr.; grandson, Robert Seals; granddaughter, Kathleen Seals; and grandson, Ricky Seals. She is survived by her children, Sheila Seals, Eddie Seals (Nola), Cynthia Collier, Clinton Seals (Jamie) and Michael Seals (Dawn). She leaves behind several beloved grandchildren, Roger Seals Jr., Rodney Seals, Randy Seals, and many other grandchildren and  great grandchildren.

Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her. We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace with her Creator, surrounded by eternal love.
