Makenzie Nicole Baumhardt, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend, passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 24. Born on April 10, 2001, Makenzie brought light and joy to everyone who knew her. She was a bright shining star in a dark night sky

She was the cherished daughter of Billy Shane Baumhardt and Tiffany Lynne Baumhardt, and a loving sister to Megan, Nate, Leilani, and Isabella. Makenzie was also deeply loved by her grandparents, Judy and Joe Aubuchon and Dan and Barbara Tomlinson.

Makenzie grew up as a strong farm girl with a passion for animals. She thrived in 4-H, raising hogs and proudly winning belt buckles for her hard work and dedication. Her determination and love for learning led her to graduate high school at just 16 years old, and later complete her education at Phagan’s Beauty School. She pursued her dream career in cosmetology, working at Evolution Hair Design under the guidance and mentorship of Tanja and Patty, where she built lasting relationships and touched countless lives.

She was able to do what most only hope to do, she was able to live out her passion every day. When she wasn’t at work, you could find Makenzie travelling the globe to visit her dear friend Keziah Stevens; exercising her love of scubadiving in the ocean blue; spending time with her close friend Myriah; or playing Dungeons & Dragons with Uncle Darren and his gaming group. We met every month for family game night. Her love for family, friends, and animals was unwavering, and her laughter and kindness will be remembered forever.

Makenzie’s life was a beautiful example of strength, creativity, and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
