Maile,  you always had a special place in my heart. We definitely had some good laughs! Love you friend.
My beautiful cousin that I always looked up to and dreamed I could be as cool as. You gave me my first Chanel lip gloss and perfume, and taught me how to pucker my lips. You also taught me how to “read between the lines” to secretly flip someone off 😂 I will never forget your infectious laugh. You are with all the greats - your dad, Mimi, Poppy (Roger). Love you always

I will always remember her scooting around in her diaper. Meeting her for the first time when Tom and Nancy brought her to Redwood City to meet some of her Cousins. Driving up to Brockway to Grandma's in Tahoe. All of us at Cassie wedding causing trouble. Meeting her in Palo Alto for pancakes and laughter.  Mai we had many hard talks you and I. I know many times you didnt like my answers to your questions. I wish I had the answers that could have brought you solace. I dont think I did. But there wasn't a moment I didn't love you.  You had a larger than life laugh and personality. Maybe to big for this sometimes difficult world. I don't know where you've gone. I hope you are with the fun people as Lani said. You will be with us and remembered always.
Maile, you will always be my Eddie and I'll always be your Patsy. R. I. P. darling.💔

Thank you Maile for the smiles, joy and laughter that we shared on trips to Canada, USA and England. A strawberry "smoke shake" will never taste the same again.  I feel that I was fortunate to meet you at a time in your life when you were absolutely at your prime, completely on top of your A-game. A bright shining star at the top of the tree.  Happy, hilarious, beautiful, caring and such fun to be around.  Those  fond memories will be cherished forever.

I hope you've now found the tranquility that you were deprived of in your latter years. Sending my love to you Maile, to your family and friends.  xxxxxxxxx

We spent thirteen years together—years that were filled with passion, complexity, and undeniable intensity. Our time was never quiet, never dull. It was fiery, fun, and at times, too much for either of us to hold onto. But it was real.

Maile was a force. She felt everything deeply—love, pain, joy, struggle. She carried more than most ever knew, battling demons that too often pulled her away from peace. Still, in the midst of it all, she had a light. When it shone, it lit up everything around her.

Though our paths diverged, I never stopped hoping she’d find the calm she deserved. That somewhere along the way, she’d discover the gentleness and rest that eluded her for so long.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Nancy, Rachel, and to the entire Langer, Whitmire and Noyes families. I know your loss is profound, and I share in your grief. May her memory live on in the love you carry for her, and in the moments of light she brought to your lives.

I hope now, wherever she is, she’s found that peace. I hope she feels free.

Rest well, Mai. You were never forgotten.

I am Lorna Corbetta's sister.  Lorna was married for many years to Roger Noyes, Maile's devoted father.  I had spent so much time with beloved Maile over the years.  I was painfully stunned to hear of her passing.  She truly was so talented, hilarious, beautiful and adored.  I'll never forget you dear Maile.
