When we purchased our brand new home in Mission Viejo, our saleman, Greg Holz said we would be living next door to his best friend. He indicated that we would love living next door to these beautiful people. He wasn’t wrong! We became instant friends!
Maggee wasn’t really into cooking then and often times I would take home cooked meals to them. I was known to Maggee as “meals on wheels”. That name carried with me all these years.
Maggee was an endearing friend, and I miss her terribly!
Her love of people and sense of humor were one of her greatest assets.

Just a few of my many memories of Margaret Mary, now known as Maggee: I remember her singing and playing her guitar in our living room on Friar Street when we were teenagers. She had such a sweet voice.
Years later, Pat and I visited Maggee, Bill, Kelli, and Aunt Marge in Colleyville when we were traveling in our RV. Jerry was away on a pilot assignment, so we missed him. We all went to the Dallas Book Depository museum, taking turns pushing Aunt Margie’s wheelchair. Maggee’s care for her mother was heartwarming to watch.
Another time, Maggee, Jerry, and Bill visited us in Palm Desert. Jerry and Pat played golf and Maggee and I visited. Maggee brought old family photos and, as cousins, we had shared memories-Grandma Aiani, Aunt Honey, Louis and Edward, and many others. It was the most wonderful time because we were relaxed, laughing and talking for hours. They visited us other times and I always looked forward to spending time with them. I miss her.
