Madgeline's obituary
We regretfully announce the passing of Madgeline “Midge” Elizabeth Gerlach of Concord on March 10, 2023. She passed away peacefully with family at her side. Midge was a kind, funny, loving, and supportive Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and Aunt. Our family was blessed to have her. We will never be able to fill the space she left behind.
Madgeline was born June 11, 1941 to Henry and Dorinda (Come) Gerlach in Jamaica, Vermont. She was one of eleven children. Madgeline was predeceased by her parents, her son Craig Brown, her sisters Cecila Brown and Shirley Smith, her brothers Henry and his surviving wife Lorraine, Alfred, Clarence and William Gerlack.
Madgeline is survived by her brothers Rolla Gerlack and his wife Dale of Littleton and Frank Gerlack Sr and his wife Marchelle of New York. Her sister Della O’Mullen and her husband Edward O’Mullen of Allenstown and sister Eleanor Come of Alexandria. Her children Clayton Brown and his wife Linda of Belmont, Clifton Brown and his fiancee Amelia Palmer of Wilson Oklahoma and daughter Michelle Brown and her fiancé Michael Carrier of Concord. Madgeline also leaves behind her Grandchildren; Desiree Daniels, Nathan Brown, Tamara Stevens, Jessica White, Kayla Giambatista, Autumn McClure, Derek Brown, Natasha Brown and Nadia Cooper. Madgeline was a Great Grandmother to Cameron, Isabelle, Rylee, Courtney, Baylee, Caden, Ripley and Raegan.
Madgeline was retired from Globe Manufacturing LLC and was a seamstress most of her life. She was fond of the many great friends she made there. She spent retirement enjoying her flower garden, painting rocks, keeping up with family and friends on Facebook. She enjoyed spending time with Raegan and their new puppy Lacy.
Graveside services will be held at New Riverside Cemetery, 124 Suncook Valley Rd, Alton, NH 03809. Services will be held on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements provided by The Cremation Society of New Hampshire.
