Madelyne's obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of our beloved Madelyne "Maddie" Spellen. Born on October 11, 2007, Maddie left us far too soon on January 23, 2026. Known for her bubbly, caring, and happy persona, Maddie, as she preferred to be called, will be deeply missed by those who had the honor of knowing her.
Maddie is survived by her loving family: Father, David Spellen, Mother, Melissa Spellen, Sisters Emily Morris and Rebecca Bottino, and Brothers Benjamin Morris and Bradley Fordham. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her cherished nieces and nephews; Mayson Carter, Kaiden Biggins, Ayden Carter, Emmah-Ray Morris, Rylee Morris, Mia Morris, Estella Thompson, and Sawyer Thompson. She was proceeded in death by her Grandfather, Peyton Spellen and Grandmother, Pam Spellen.
A celebration of life for Madelyne is scheduled to be held on February 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at 386 Cricket Ridge Rd. At this gathering, we will honor Maddie's journey, sharing memories of the joy she brought to our lives.
Maddie's passions and interests were a reflection of her vibrant personality. She loved the color purple, and her favorite foods were Buffalo Macaroni and Cheese and Chicken Gnocchi from Olive Garden. Maddie's choice of films, her favorite being Nightmare Before Christmas, exemplified her joyful and spirited nature.
We invite all who knew Maddie to join us in celebrating her life. This dynamic, caring, and joyful soul made an impact that will continue to resonate. Madelyne Spellen, you will forever be missed and remain in our hearts.
