Madelyn Carol … she could light up an entire room by walking in with a smile bigger than life and make every child in the room feel just as important as the adults.

I'm thankful to have had a couple of times visiting Maddie before her last days. Most favorite old time memories spending time with Maddie and the family when I was young. Staying over weekends at Cherokee playing with Misty and Chasity. Camped with Maddie and family at Mill Creek (before any fires) and went exotic mushroom and buried military rations hunting. Our trip to Disneyland together and times at the beach, as well as other camping trips we enjoyed together. She is most likely camping now with her 3 dogs in the prime of their afterlife. Love You!

My condolences and contribution to my extended family, Misty and Jonathan. Very few have the fortune of having two mothers like I have. I'm truly blessed to have you all in my life since the age of 5, when Maddie first babysat me. We have shared so many wonderful memories together for the last 40 years and there are still more to come. Maddie is with us in spirit and she will watch over us until we are all reunited. Maddie was a diamond in the rough with a heart of gold and a great sense of humor. She will be missed deeply.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have only known misty for a short while but she is one of the sweetest and caring people I know. I never got to meet Maddie but I know she raised a great person. As they say the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. R.I.P.

I was glad to have known her since she lived right across the street from me and my family.  Condolences to her family for their loss. I always remember our dog Bowen would always be wanting attention from her when I was walking around the complex with him. She was always very kind and cordial whenever we stopped by to talk to her.
