Madeline Amelia (Downey) Drabkowski, 87, passed peacefully at home on March 13, 2022. 

Madeline was born September 12, 1934 in Hornell, NY a daughter of the late Placidus and Ida (Lehman) Monn. 

Madeline was certainly an earth angel and left this world better than she found it.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Franklin G. Downey and Alexander Drabkowski, sister, Marie (Walter) Hermann.

Madeline is survived by her children Frank (Maxine) Downey Jr., Diane (Stanley) Ells, Thomas (Rose) Downey, Sandra (Douglas) Morse, Bonny (Stephen) Hahn, Terry Downey and Susan (John) Day; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Madeline was a woman of many stories, and an incredibly vivid and full life.

She started her practice in holistic medicine (health kinesiology and nutrition ) over 45+ years ago after raising her 7 children.

Over her career she helped thousands of people heal. Her dedication to her craft, her faith and helping others was an inspiration to many that knew her.

She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Madeline also enjoyed a glass of wine with chocolate and for the past 35 years and spending time in Mexico, a place she cherished for its healing properties, sun and aquamarine blue sea. 

The family is arranging a celebration of life for Madeline in May, 2022 near Hornell NY.
