It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely demise of Mackenzie 'Max' Low on June 10, 2025. Born on May 21, 2001, Max was a vibrant soul, known for her smart, funny, loving, kind, and at times, introverted personality. Known for her caring nature, Max was often the one to offer comforting words to those having a hard day, leaving a legacy of kindness and compassion.
Max is survived by her parents, Amy Greer and Marc Low, her sisters Kayleigh Low and Rylee Greer, her loving grandparents Pam and Tom Low, and Romeo Montehermoso. She also leaves behind her aunt Jennifer Low and uncles Steven and Ryan Montehermoso. Max was predeceased by her grandmother Fausta Montehermoso, whose memory she held dear to her heart.
Max held a passion for many things in life. She found joy in the true crime and fantasy book genres, resonating with bands like Ghost and KISS. She enjoyed viewing TV shows like Supernatural and spent leisure time playing Left 4 Dead and various games on STEAM. Max also derived pleasure from simple passions such as walks, taking pictures of flowers, and mushrooms, and had a particular fondness for frogs and rocks, or animals in general. Her favorite foods were Alfredo, and her drink of choice was Dr. Pepper with no ice.
Not just a lover of life, Max was a passionate advocate for the causes she believed in. She actively supported the Trevor Project, showcasing her concern for societal issues. Max was a beacon of light and warmth in the lives of everyone who knew her.
