The Mackenzie’s Smile Scholarship.
Mackenzie’s family has created this scholarship in her memory to help other kids like her to live their best lives full of fun and adventure. Mackenzie was born with a cleft lip and pallet. She underwent several surgeries for her condition but she never slowed down and never let it hold her back. She was a smart, quirky and compassionate person who cared for others more than her self and she would have loved to give back to her community in this way.
This scholarship will help pay for other kids with craniofacial differences , like Mackenzie, to attend a summer camp with kids like them, where they can feel included, supported and loved and be surrounded by people who truly understand them.
