Lynne Marie Unitas, born on November 18, 1962, in East Haven, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends at the home of her best friend, Marie Shorey.

Lynne dedicated over 30 years of her life as a bookkeeper at both New London Seafood and Cuckoo's Nest, where she was known for her unwavering commitment and kindness. Her greatest pride and joy came from her three children, Christopher Unitas, Jennifer Unitas, and Ashley Doocy. Her favorite title was Nana, and she cherished every moment spent with her four beloved grandchildren. Lynne valued her friends and family above all else and loved time spent together, always putting their needs above her own. Lynne is also survived by her sister, Lisa Nugent.

An avid lover of life, Lynne found joy in spending the day at the beach especially Rocky Neck State Park and trying her luck at her favorite video poker machine at Mohegan Sun. She was a devoted pet owner, caring for her dog, Bentley, who brought her much comfort and companionship.

Lynne will be remembered for her generous spirit and the profound impact she had on the lives of those around her. She was always there to lend a helping hand and would do anything for anyone in need. Lynne's legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
