Lynne F. Bakker, age 76, wife of the late Peter Bakker, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in the Phoenixville Hospital surrounded by her children. Born on April 16, 1945 in Abington, PA, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Esther (Sharpless) Fincke.

Lynne was a graduate of Abington High School. She worked for many years in the tax department for the Phoenixville Area School District. In addition to being a wonderful mother and grandmother, Lynne was a loyal friend. She was always willing to help her loved ones – whether it was babysitting her grandchildren, driving friends to appointments, or pet sitting, she never hesitated to offer support. Lynne particularly enjoyed watching her grandchildren compete in sporting events and was one of their biggest fans. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking care of her yard and tending to her flowers.

Lynne is survived by two children, Eric S., husband of Christine Connolly Bakker of Berwyn, PA and Diana C., wife of Shawn L. Goodreau of Commerce City, CO; four grandchildren, Anna C. Bakker, Aidan C. Bakker, Gavin E. Goodreau, and Halia L. Goodreau; one brother, Guy, husband of Andrea Fincke of Gloucester, MA; and two nieces, Leslie, wife of Tim O'Sullivan and Adrienne, wife of Brett Roberto.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in the Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard, Valley Forge, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380 or to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
