Lynn's obituary
In Loving Memory of Lynn Cicero Ross
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our sister, Lynn Cicero Ross, who departed this life at the age of seventy-one after a brief illness. Lynn was not just a sister but a best friend, confidant, and cherished member of our family. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
Lynn’s incredible sense of humor and contagious laugh could light up any room. She was a generous, fun-loving person with a unique ability to connect with others. A talented poet, Lynn’s published works were a testament to her passion and creativity. She also had a fiercely competitive spirit, often outshining her siblings and friends in card games, word puzzles, and trivia—a fact she wore proudly.
Although Lynn did not have children of her own, she embraced the role of a second mother to her many nieces and nephews, showering them with love and guidance. Raised in a family of seven, Lynn faced life’s challenges with resilience. After losing our father when we were just children, our mother became our unwavering source of love, laughter, and support. It brings us comfort to know that our mother will be waiting to welcome her with open arms.
Lynn is survived by her brothers, Richard Cicero (the late Mary), Jim Cicero (Valerie), and her sister Josephine (Jay) Coulter (Ken), as well as her beloved nieces and nephews. She now joins our parents, our sister Kathy, and our brother Sam at the Gates of Heaven.
Though Lynn is no longer physically with us, her spirit, and the memories we shared will remain in our hearts forever. We love you, your memory will never fade.
