Lynn Ann Blokzyl, of Yorba Linda, CA, passed away on March 24, 2025.  Lynn was born on January 27,1945 in Moorhead, MN, to Don and Joan Smith.

One year after graduating from Moorhead High School, she transferred with the phone company to Hollywood, CA.  Shortly after moving there, she met the love of her life through a mutual friend.  John and Lynn were married on April 10, 1965.

Lynn enjoyed vacationing with family, and traveling with friends.  She and John especially loved their trips in their RV, whether it was a cross country trip or a week in the mountains or at the beach.  When she wasn’t traveling, she loved playing golf.  For many years after her retirement from Hunt Wesson, they lived on a golf course and you could find Lynn on the course playing with the ladies’ group, or with friends several times a week.  Lynn loved being a grandparent more than anything in the world, and spent the majority of her time attending their activities and sporting events.

Lynn is survived by her husband John, daughter Teri (husband John, and sons Jake and Ryan), son Brad (wife Elle, and daughters Nikki, Gabby, and Jackie), son John (wife Stacee, sons Greyson and Joseph, daughter Carlee, and stepson Javier), and son Jeff (wife Krista, and sons Cody, Garett, and Caden), sisters Gini, Penney, Pamela, Paula, Tracey, and Paige, and brothers Patrick, Greg, Perry, Peter, Preston, and Scott, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her late brother Doug, her nephew Chad, and her parents.
