writing to share the sad news of our dad, Lynford's, passing on May 5, 2025, after a courageous five-month battle with stage four lung cancer, which he was diagnosed with on January 14, 2025. He leaves behind his three children, ages 15, 21, and 29, and two beloved grandchildren, ages 4 and 7.
We want to give our dad the beautiful sendoff he deserves. The total cost for the funeral arrangements has been quoted at $1600.00, and as a college student from a low-income family, I am finding it very difficult to cover these expenses. We are also concerned about the accumulating taxes from the funeral home despite our ongoing efforts to gather the necessary funds.
In lieu of flowers, our family would be incredibly grateful for any contribution you might be able to make to help us honor Lynford. Your kindness and support during this challenging time would mean the world to us.
