Charlie and I consider it a privilege to have Lynette as our daughter- in- law, we loved and admired her from the start.
It was so sweet to see Edwin and Lynette together , they were always loving, soft spoken and their eyes lit up when they spoke to each other
Their love story started when they were young teens, no matter how tough things were they couldn’t be separated so with a few bumps and tumbles along the way, their love lasted until 5:35pm on March 4, 2023 when Edwin took his last breath………. Some people have never experienced that kind of love.
Lynette was most proud of being the mother of Jakob-- She literally beamed when she looked at or spoke of him, from the time he was a baby……
Some saw Lynette as shy and quiet---- Ha .. she always had a lot to say ….and said it --- ,
She was funny and I loved her laugh when she would really get tickled,
Her level of maturity even as a young 18 year old was surprising, some young ladies that age are loud, obnoxious, jealous, catty, and immature – But Lynette wasn’t that way at all she always showed a level head.
She conducted herself as a lady, she didn’t swear, she had a relationship with the Lord and I believe I will see her again
She was upbeat and happy, that bright beautiful smile framed by that long blonde blonde hair – she was a knockout too!
She mastered whatever she set her mind to, always caring, compassionate & incredibly smart- She made us proud when she became a nurse and a wonderful one at that!
She was a gifted artist - When they were living in WA state and she needed a small paint brush, but didn’t have one and she had no way to get one, she cut several stands of her hair
and made herself a brush and then painted 4 different scene’s on 4 different 1 X1 tiles… her talent still amazes me .
Lynette loved to cook and was a fabulous cook, often trying a new recipe she had found in one of her treasured cookbooks.
Always Thoughtful and considerate, she once brought Charlie strawberry short cake for desert but because he can’t eat seeds, she peeled the strawberries, ....
It’s true what Edwin said about her …… “Aint no sunshine when she’s gone.” We will miss her terribly.
