Lynda's obituary
Lynda Lee LeFave (68) was born on August 3, 1955 in Chicago IL. and passed away on October 3, 2023 in Clovis CA, surrounded by her family, after a sudden battle with cancer.
Lynda (born Lynda Krucki) was born to Chester Krucki (deceased) and Christine Krucki, who survives her. Lynda is also survived by her husband Michael LeFave, sister Sharon Erickson (Bill) of Eau Claire WI, daughter Casey Robertshaw (Garrett) of Valley Springs, son James LeFave of Visalia, and nephew Justin Colht (Elizabeth) of River Grove IL. Lynda is preceded in death by her sister Donna Krucki of Tehachapi.
Lynda grew up in Addison IL with her family. She attended Arizona State University and Saddleback College. Lynda spent her years as a young adult traveling the country seeing bands, working at an accounting firm where she would meet her husband Michael, and later working for Amtrak as a train attendant. Lynda and Michael would later move to Three Rivers CA, where they would raise their two children. Lynda not only continued helping with the family tax business, but would also go on to begin working at Three Rivers Union School (TRUS) in 1999 as a teacher’s assistant and later as the School District Office Manager. Lynda loved working with kids, and often told stories from her work day and her conversations with the students. Just prior to her passing, in preparation of becoming a grandmother, Lynda had been planning her retirement.
She was known for her style and was frequently the best dressed person in the room. She even won best dressed while attending a Catholic school where they wore uniforms. When she was not at work, she was commonly seen tending to her expansive garden, driving her convertible Mustang, or at home spending time with her cats and dog. Of all the things Lynda enjoyed, she didn’t enjoy anything as much as spending time with her kids. Her children were most important to her.
Lynda was loved by generations of TRUS students and staff, her community, and most importantly her family. She will truly be missed.
