Nothing and no one could light up a room immediately like my grandmother Linda could. I am the most blessed grandchild to have had someone like Linda more commonly referred to as "granny!" in my life. I could take this entire page up telling stories about how wonderful and loving she is and was, and enjoy every minute of that truth being shared with you, but if I learned any lesson and wanted to share that from her to and through me, that gift would be the gift of being so welcoming to anyone. Anytime someone came into the room, the smile, the greeting, and words like "I'm so glad you are here!" would ring every time I got to or anyone came to see her. No one was as wholeheartedly open, inviting, and warm to the soul as my wonderful grandmother was. I will carry that and many other things from her along in my life to honor her legacy and make her proud until I see her again. Granny you are missed, but not even CLOSE to forgotten. Thank you for not only being you, but for the lifetime of love, kindness, and of course some sugary sweets along the way. You will live on through all of us as a family.
