Background
Mom was taken from us way too soon, but we're comforted in knowing she's still with us - every second of every day. Her love of family and friends, endless creativity and ability to make everything she accomplished look easy will live on with us forever.
She shared in our family's love of the mountains. We spent so much quality time in Garden Valley, and she was definitely in her element there. In fact, once retired, she vowed to have a place there to call her own. It was the place that made her heart and her mind sing.
To honor her, we would like to build a custom wood swing memorial: a place where friends can gather together, laugh, sing and enjoy each others company. This memorial will be a set of 4 wood swings in a custom square log formation facing each other surrounding a stone fire pit, located in the beautiful mountains of Garden Valley. It will be accessible to anyone wanting to connect with nature, rest their legs from a long walk or just to feel moms love from above.
The exact location is still to be determined, but I will post updates on this web page as the project progresses.
