Lynda Chong, 53, of San Francisco, California, passed away on August 07, 2022 from colon cancer with her family by her side in San Francisco, California.  She will always be remembered and loved in our hearts. 

Lynda was predeceased by her brother, Carl Chong.  She is survived by her parents (Edmond & Mei Wan Chong), husband (Jin Boon Ong), son (Matthew Ong), daughter (Emily) and elder brother (Ken Chong).

A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Homes and Memorial Park in Daly City, California on August 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m..    

Lynda was born in Vancouver, Canada, on January 9, 1969 - the youngest of three siblings.  The family migrated to San Francisco, California when she was 1 year old.  She grew up in San Francisco, California and graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. 

Lynda and Jin met in San Francisco, California in 1995 and married in 2007.  They have two children (Matthew, 14 and Emily 10).  She enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
