Lydia Mary Nikodym went to join the Lord, our savior, in her sleep on November 19th, 2021 at her home in Central Point, Oregon. Joining her husband, Joseph Nikodym Sr. and her son, Joseph Nikodym Jr. in heaven. She was 95 yrs. old. Lydia was born in Pagoda, Colorado to Lydia & Charles Betz. March 2, 1926. Eventually, they moved to Phoenix, Oregon. Where she met the love of her life Joseph D. Nikodym. They were married in Reno, Nevada June 8th, 1946. They had 3 children, Nancy M. Anderson, Joseph D. Nikodym Jr., & Lydia (Tina) M. Sherk. 5 grand daughters, 8 great grandsons, 5 great grand daughters, & 1 great great grand daughter.
Lydia had been on a bowling team when she was younger, enjoyed camping, knitting, sewing, quilting & cooking. Lydia enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved the Lord, and she loved life.
