Lydia Johnson 56 of Vinton, Iowa passed away on January 6th, 2021 at at St.Luke’s Unity point Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Lydia grew up in Coggon, Iowa moving to Vinton in early adulthood. She later lived in Cedar Rapids for many years while raising her kids and being a homemaker, moving back to vinton in her later years. She was proud to have visited 43 states in her many often spontaneous road trips. She adored all her grandchildren and cherished her time with them. She was active in her church forming special bonds with many at Cornerstone Baptist Church in vinton iowa. She was always willing to help someone in need and was the foundation of our family. Her generous soul, kind heart and contagious smile will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
