Lydia Gamble was born March 3, 1961 in Chicago, Il to Charles and Lillian Dodson. She was the eighth of their nine children. Her father, mother, three of her brothers; Brad, Roger and Arthur and her sister Maria Dodson preceded in her death.
Lydia confessed her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Christ Temple. She graduated from Harlan Community Academy High School in 1979. After graduating she then began her thirty year career working at the Circuit Court of Cook County. Upon working she met her true love Willie B. Gamble; they married each other in 1986.
Lydia peacefully exchanged her life here on earth for eternity January 26, 2019. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Lyssia Wilson, Jillian Gamble-Jones(Clearance Jones Jr), Tiffany Gamble-Bennett(Devon Bennett Sr.), and (step daughter) Eurydice Martin, her sisters Yvonne and Catherine(Joseph), her brothers Charles and Oscar(Pat), 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
