Lydia's obituary
In loving memory of our mother, Lydia Calderon, who passed away on February 14, 2025. She was the devoted wife of Efrain Calderon and loving mother of Vida, Ruby and Rey. And newly made grandmother of Vicente Martinez. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, even those who only met her for a second but we're touched by her smile and radiant happiness.
Our mother was a beyond loving, caring and vibrant person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and grace. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Growing up, Lydia was always there for us, even before we could tell her anything she already knew just what to do to help us feel better. She was a gem of a woman who loved being a mother and best friend to her children; cooking the most delicious meals filled with love, supporting her children in anything and everything they put their minds to, and making sure no one in the family ever had to worry about anything. We all truly felt that as long as we had her, there was nothing in life we couldn't do. Life felt like a fairytale when mom was around. There is nothing Lydia couldn't do; she'd chop wood, plan vacations at the most unique places where we'd eat the yummiest food, go fishing any chance she got and find hidden gems of nature all over Idaho for us to visit. She was the happiest women around and made everyone feel a sense of safety. She was a woman of strong faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to. Mommy, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so so much. Rest in peace our beautiful angel<3
