Lydia Alma Bayse passed in November of 1981, aged 86 years. Alma was born March 30, 1895 in South Boardman, Michigan to Elmer White (who had once served as Kalkaska Sheriff) & Ida Hank. She married Sterling Fleetwood Bayse in Toledo, Ohio in December of 1927. They had one child, William Sterling Bayse, in October of 1928. Alma leaves her son, William, daughter-in-law, Josephine Ann, a grand daughter, Susan and a grandson, William, Jr. Alma was predeceased by a sister, Myrtle Etzcorn, of Michigan. Alma had worked with the Michigan State School System for many years including the early State Normal School System. In later years, she had a happy retirement with many friends in Delray Beach, Florida before later moving to Spokane, Washington to be closer to family. Loved & missed by all.
