Background
In lieu of flowers, Luna's mother has set up an optional donation link on this website. Please do not feel obligated to contribute monetarily. We appreciate all prayers, messages and sweet thoughts about our Luna. We have set up her memorial page so that family and friends can show their love for her.
If you would like to make an optional charitable donation, please know that 100% of contributions will go to charities and organizations that focus on second trimester loss, fetal death and family care. Unfortunately, many families suffer or have experienced the same circumstances. There are many hospitals that aren't equipped with the proper resources for care during and after still birth/infant loss. Through extensive research, we have found many amazing organizations that support families through helping with medical & funeral costs, providing free mental health services (short term & ongoing) and providing extensive genetic testing for prevention of future losses. Many also work with hospitals to ensure that they have up to date neonatal care and resources for extensive research on prevention/treatments for fetal loss. Luna is our guardian angel, and one way we would like to honor her is helping others through this devastating time. The organizations I have chosen are: March of Dimes, Abby's Gift, M.E.N.D, Angel Names Association, Korie & Kacie Foundation, and American Pregnancy Association. If you would like to donate directly to the organization instead, or you know one not listed you can do so by going to their website. All contributions made through this page go directly into a secure donation account that will be split evenly between the organizations listed above in the name of my sweet Luna James. Contribute
