Ms. Luisa "Babie" Balza, 86, of Panorama City, California, passed away on March 04, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends.

Babie Balza, was born on June 21, 1936, in Bohol, Philippines, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Babie Balza went on to graduate from Sacred Heart Academy, in high school graduation year as a Valedictorian student. After graduating from high school, Babie Balza went on to pursue a degree in Bachelor of Laws at University of San Carlos and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Babie Luisa fell in love with Criminal Law and Business Law, which kicked off a 10-year stint in the field.

In 1948, she met Chito Villegas and the two were inseparable from that point on. Luisa & Chito were married for over 23 years and had 3 children, Virgelia, Elde and Ana Marie. Then Babie Balza remarried to Romeo Jayme and had 1 child, Oliver Jayme.

Babie Luisa was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, raising all 4 kids on her own of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Luisa, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Babie Balza’s name. Services will be at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park - 10621 Victory Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91606. Wednesday, March 22 for Viewing from 5 pm to 9 pm PT & Funeral next day Thursday, March 23 at 10 am PT.
