It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Luis Gonzalez, who left us on March 10, 2026. Born on May 21, 1972, Luis lived a fulfilling life characterized by dedication, love, and an unwavering spirit of service.
Luis leaves behind his loving wife, Ericka Gonzalez, with whom he shared 12 blessed years. His legacy lives on in their son, Luis Gonzalez Jr., who will fondly remember his father's wisdom and unwavering support. Luis is also survived by his brother, Alejandro Gonzalez, his sister, Arlette Fuentes, and his brother, Abraham Gonzalez. His mother, Blanca Gonzalez Martinez, predeceased him.
A devout attendee at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church, Luis lived his faith with conviction. He contributed much of his time to volunteering at the church, demonstrating his dedication to serving his community.
A fervent fan of the San Antonio Spurs, Luis enjoyed cheering on his favorite team. He had a deep love for Batman movies, a pastime that brought him immense joy. An avid gardener, Luis found peace and serenity working with plants, his hands in the soil. His favorite vacation spot was San Diego, CA, where he enjoyed the sunshine and the sea.
Luis was a man of extraordinary character, defined by his deep love for his family, his faith, and his community. Most will remember him as a loving and caring man, a pillar of strength for his family, a beacon of light in his community.
Luis will be greatly missed, but his memory will continue to inspire and comfort those who knew him. His life, though too short, was filled with acts of love and service that have left indelible impressions on the hearts of many.
