Lucy Mae (Hott) Ruddle, age 89, of Elkins, WV, formerly of Riverton, WV, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Colonial Place in Elkins. She was born on March 26, 1931, in Cabins, WV, the daughter of the late Loren S. and Valetta (Markwood) Hott. Lucy married Estyl Wade Ruddle, who preceded her in death on April 29, 2005.

Mrs. Ruddle was a 1948 graduate of Petersburg High School and had worked as a bookkeeper for Ruddle Trucking and Ruddle Poultry Farm. She was a member of Riverton United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Ruddle is survived by: Grandsons Jason Hudson, Zachary Hudson, Austin Ruddle , and Granddaughters Jennifer Ruddle and Sandra Hudson ; 3 great-grandchildren, Bergynn Piper, Sydni Lynn, and Christopher Michael Ruddle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John David Ruddle.
