Lucy Lacy was born Lucy Mae Simmons on September 1, 1933, in Haskell, Oklahoma to the parents of Ray Ford and Rebella Simmons. She was one of 14 children. She moved to Oakland California in May 1951, and met the love of her Life, F.E. Lacy. They were married on November 23, 1951. She loved her husband very much and went to great lengths to care for him. Lucy happily remained by his side for …
