Obituary

Luscious “Buck” Coullette was a humble man, he was called home to Glory on January 23rd, 2022. He was born in Summerton, SC the youngest son of the late Louise Fordham and Stewart Coullette. Buck, as he was affectionately called, grew up around his loving family and friends. As a young teen, he attended Scott Branch High School. With a passion to be creative with is hands. Luscious “Buck” Coullette at an early age taught himself Carpentry and became a Master Carpenter. Uncle Buck) as some of us called him, surely had the Gift of the master’s hands when it came to being a carpenter. Working as a Carpenter for over 25 years.
He later met “Mickie” , the love of his life. Mickie and Buck raised their son Derrick Georgia until he became an adult. They shared a beautiful life together until Mickie was called home to Glory.
Buck enjoyed working on his farm and taking care of his animals. His favorite pastime was sitting on his front porch and taking in all the beauty of the great outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his son, Derrick Georgia and Daughter-in-Law Shaneen Georgia and his grandchildren.

He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters Bernie Montgomery Coullette-Baxter, Daisy Mallard, his Brothers Lewis Coullette, and Stewart Coullette Jr. He is survived by his sister Mariah Coullette-Harris or “Boe '' as he loved to call her; son Derrick Georgia, daughter-in-law Shaneen Georgia; three grandchildren Emmanuel Georgia, Derrick Georgia and Abriana Georgia.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place at Summerton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life for Luscious “Buck” Coullette will be held on Saturday February 5th, 2022, at 1:00 pm at SonRise International Faith Church, 34 Parson Street Summerton, SC 29148. Minister Beverly Harris of Harvest Life Changer Church, will officiate

He will be missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of Lucious “Buck'' Coullette to SonRise International Faith Church as a love offering for assisting the Coullette family in their time of need.
