Two wings to veil my face.
Two wings to veil my feet.
Two wings to fly away,
and the world can’t do me no harm.
Ms. Lucretia Shawntaé Gilmore was born July 5,
1979, in Detroit, Michigan to Mr. Sheldon Gilmore,
Sr., and Ms. Jessie Pearl E. Gilmore.
She accepted Christ at an early age.
Lucretia had a love for people, and that love expanded
into the workforce as a housekeeper and a health
care professional.
Lucretia received her two wings on Wednesday,
August 7, 2019, at 6:27 a.m. She is preceded in
death by maternal grandparents, Robert and Lucille
Evans; fraternal grandparents, Johnny and Shirley
Gilmore; and other loved ones.
Lucretia leaves her love, care, and spirit with the ones
she loves: fiancé, Christopher Nelson; one daughter,
Shaiyauna Mar’ce Bell; mother, Jessie Gilmore;
father, Sheldon Gilmore, Sr.; siblings, Leneika
Evans, Korey Evans, Sheldon (Leah) Gilmore, Jr.,
and Reginald Gilmore; special family members,
Nette Bell and Linda Nelson; and a host of nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
