Lucille “Dolly” Ann Karrick, 85, of Bloomingdale died January 15, 2025.

Dolly was born on July 25, 1939 in Newark, NJ to the late Salvatore and Christina “Mary” Bartolomeo. She was the loving mother of Francine (Tom) Canty, Salvatore (Linda) Swanton, Anthony (Jennifer) Karrick, Art (Joanne) Karrick, and Christina (David) Tedeschi; proud grandmother of Breahna (Matt) Noyes, Sarah Canty (David Osiecki), Jeremy Swanton (Kyle Hass), Amanda Swanton (Andrew Barrueta), Ryan Karrick, Megan Karrick (Chris Sanft), Anthony Tedeschi (Karla Bahena), and Daniel Tedeschi (Lucien DeJule); beloved great-grandmother of Giada Wessel and Zoey Wessel; dear sister of Ralph Bartolomeo, Anthony (Judy) Bartolomeo, and the late Salvatore “Junior” Bartolomeo. She will be missed by an adoring community of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Dolly was her family’s biggest cheerleader; she could be found at every one of her grandkids’ recitals, games, birthdays, and graduations with a proud smile and plenty of balloons. She was a passionate baker, bingo player, and music enthusiast. Her zest for life left a mark on all those she knew and loved and lives on through her devoted family and friends.
