Lucas's obituary
Lucas Daniel Remington passed away on January 25, 2025 at his home in Arvada, Colorado, at the age of 45
due to heart failure. Luke was born on September 29, 1979, in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Luke attended school in Iola and then Stevens Point. He graduated from UWM in Madison, Wisconsin, with a degree in graphic design.
He was a beloved son to his mother, Mary Berard and her husband, Bob Berard, as well as his father, Dale Remington and his wife, Wendy Remington. His grandmother Dorothy “Dot” Remington, always held a special place in his heart. Luke’s sister, Sara Remington, her partner Rick Frisch, and his adored nephews, Remington and Andrew Frisch, and their half-brother Tyrese Dickerson and stepsister Melissa Liter, will deeply miss Luke.
Never has there been a more humble, caring, thoughtful, loving, honest, hardworking, trustworthy, reliable, incredible, unique, smart, special, funny, artistic, wonderful man.
After college following his love and passion for snowboarding and the outdoors; Luke, with best friends in tow, made his way to the mountains of Colorado where he made a wonderful life for himself.
He loved being the master of his own unique ideas.
Luke lived doing what he loved most and began the company “The Restoration Union” with his best friend Justin Bowser. For the past 20 years he restored and created amazing artwork, built and transformed spaces within businesses and homes, creating masterpieces forever keeping his legacy alive!
A jack-of-all trades, a man who could do anything and look good doing it! Everything Luke did was done to perfection and the signature style of Lucas Remington could be recognized in all he did.
Luke put his heart and soul into everything he did and everyone he loved. He deserved way more than life had to offer and maybe he’ll finally get it all in heaven.
Luke genuinely loved his family, friends and especially his beloved female chocolate Lab “Larry”.
