Louise passed away peacefully the evening of Thursday, December 25, 2025, with the love of her family surrounding her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Denis; her sons Lee (Charmae) and Paul (Katherina); grandchildren Emma, Jaxton, Andi, Taylor; siblings Diane (Dave), Norman, Rosceline (Lindsay), Adele; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Louise was a proud and loving mother to Lee and Paul. She treasured her children deeply and took great joy in watching their lives unfold. Her love for them was constant and unwavering, and she remained a source of encouragement, wisdom, and comfort throughout their lives.

Louise was also a proud grandmother to Emma, Jaxton, Andi, and Taylor, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her grandchildren brought her happiness, laughter and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She had a way of making people feel welcome, and her love was expressed not only in words, but in the many thoughtful ways she cared for the people closest to her. Whether that was making their favourite cake on their birthdays, making herself available when there was a project to be done, or doing some research when starting a new project. She was the kind of person who remembered birthdays, offered a listening ear, and extended kindness in ways both large and small.

Those who knew her will remember her as a woman of action, she was organized and she took pride when she completed her lists of to do’s. She cherished time spent camping, fishing and playing cards with her sisters and friends.

Louise was predeceased by her parents Richard and Eleanor; brother Michel; and daughter Jesse.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 16, 2026 (2:00pm) at Holborn Hall.

Feel free to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy; there is a liquor license but there will be no bar.

Casual attire is perfectly acceptable, if weather permits, there will be a bonfire in the spacious yard and BBQ after the Celebration of Life.

Dinner will be provided; brisket on bun, pizza, hotdogs, snacks and light refreshments.

We have booked the hall from Friday May 15 (5:00pm) to Sunday May 17 (5:00pm) for those who would like to bring their RVs for the weekend or camp overnight. There's no rush to leave, stick around and visit.
