Louise's obituary
Louise Blackmon 86 passed away on Tuesday December 13, 2022, at her home at Town Plaza. She was born on August 18, 1936, in Pickens, Arkansas to Walter Witherspoon Sr. and Mary Ester Burris Witherspoon.
Louise dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. She was in church all of her childhood under the leadership of her father Rev. Walter Witherspoon.
Louise worked for the Warren Hotel as a head cook for many years. She also worked at the K C Truck Stop for over ten years. She loved to Cook.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Louise was on the Mission Board at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She loved the Church an Activities, she always said, “If a car was going that way, she wanted to be in it.” She was a Church Mother and served until her health began to fail.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents Walter Sr. and Mary Witherspoon; four sister, Geneva Reed; Ella Mae Jordan; Bama Wells; one brother, James Otis Harrell; and one son, Lavern Blackmon Sr…
