It is with sincere regret that we announce Louis Allen Rifesi, 47, passed away after a sudden heart attack Monday, September 26, 2022. He is predeceased by his father, Silvio F. Rifesi, who passed September 30, 2003. He leaves behind his two children, Katie "Ash" Rifesi (Ryan Vanden Beukel) and Gavin Rifesi, and their mother, Elisabeth Rifesi (née Warren), his mother, Rita Rifesi, his sisters, Josephine Rifesi and Jennifer Smead (Robert Smead), his brother Scott Murray (Connie Murray), three nieces Jessica Hopkins (Michael Hopkins), Natalie Smead, Elena Murray, and one nephew Justin Smead (Haley Jellison-Smead).  

Louis grew up and spent most of his life in Santa Cruz, California. He and his former wife, Elisabeth, spent some years in White Lake, Michigan after their second child was born, but Louis returned to California some years ago. He most recently was a department manager for McDonald's Corporation for over twelve years. 

Louis leaves behind a hole in the heart of those who loved him and his family hopes he is at peace now.
