Louis "Lou" Ambrosini, born on January 2, 1965, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2023. Known affectionately as Lou, he will forever be remembered for his warm and funny personality, always making those around him feel comfortable and cherished.
Lou is survived by his loving wife, Susie Ambrosini, his devoted children, Katie and Sam Ambrosini, his daughter-in-law, Loretta Ambrosini, and his cherished grandson, Louis Ambrosini. He also leaves behind his sisters, Donna Arnone and Gina Ruffo, his brothers-in-law, Vince Arnone and John Ruffo, and his nephew, Vincey Arnone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Olga Ambrosini.
With a great love for both food and drinks, Lou enjoyed a plate of spaghetti or subs, and took particular comfort in iced tea or coffee. He was passionate about the arts, especially fond of books about the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, and The Beatles. His love for music was eclectic, ranging from The Beatles to the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and even KISS.
Lou derived great pleasure from watching TV shows such as Blue Bloods and Forensic Files, supporting Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers, and attending concerts. He was an active man who loved listening to music and handling tasks around the house and helping the family.
He enjoyed traveling to Virginia Beach, spending time in Pittsburgh with his family, and dining at Tepanyaki Sushi and Seafood Buffet. Lou supported causes dear to him, notably St. Jude's Hospital, reflecting his compassionate and giving personality.
Blue was his favorite color, mirroring his lively and sociable nature. His dedication to his family was unmistakable and one of his greatest accomplishments in life, ensuring his children were well taken care of. Lou's legacy of kindness will forever be ingrained in the hearts of those he left behind.
