Background

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our Dad, Louie Bracamonte, lovingly known as Big Lou, who left us on November 26, 2023. Louie was in a car accident that left him hospitalized. He developed an infection in his lungs that sent him into cardiac arrest, and later passed due to complications from that event. Many have reached out and asked how they can support during this difficult time. We have been moved by all of the hugs, prayers, and especially stories about our Dad. If you would like to help with funeral expenses, we deeply appreciate any and all donations that will help us honor our Dad.

Born on February 16, 1958, he spent his life touching the hearts of those around him with his caring and joyful personality.

Louie's legacy is built on a foundation of helping others, a trait that was reflected in every aspect of his personal and professional life. His departure is a significant loss not just to his family but also his long-time friends, the wrestling community, and all those who had the privilege of receiving his impeccable brick and tile work.

Louie’s life was a testament to resilience and tenacity. He never let his health issues stop him from doing what needed to be done, or from being of service to anyone he loved.

We remember Louie as a figure of strength, warmth, and an irreplaceable presence. He will be greatly missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire us. Rest in peace, Louie "BIG LOU" Bracamonte.
